Job summary

Education Supply Pool is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support day-to-day, short-term and long-term positions for schools in and around Abertillery, Wales. The role requires a minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, or BA (Hons) Education, with at least 3 months classroom experience.

Owning a valid UK Driver’s Licence enhances opportunities. Successful candidates will undergo vetting including references and DBS checks, with interviews held at our Newport city centre office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months experience inside a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment with the correct Education and Training

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day, short-term and long-term positions within schools.
• Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum with consideration of varied student abilities.
• Maintain hygiene and safety rules and provide stimulating activities.
• Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and collaborate with teachers and families when needed.
