Job description

Berry Recruitment Truro are actively seeking several Painters and Decorators for sites in the Truro and Camborne area.

You will have the opportunity to work with fantastic Cornish contracting companies assisting them on their exciting projects within the southwest region, with a duration of around 2-4 weeks and potential to become ongoing.

Responsibilities:

1. Paint, gloss and decorate.
2. Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for the painting and decorating process.
3. Carry out internal and external requirements.
4. Complete all aspects of general decorating from preparation; intermediate coats through to finishing coats.

Requirements:

1. Understanding of the appropriate materials used when undergoing projects.
2. Preferably have a CSCS or equivalent ticket.
3. Previous demonstrable skills and knowledge in painting and decoration is desirable but not essential.
4. Hold a full UK Driving Licence.

This temporary position is a great opportunity that will best suit someone who is self-motivated, capable of working independently, and is happy to work alongside other contractors.
