Decontamination Field Service Engineer - up to £42,000 + Van, Bonus & Benefits

Full time - Servicing clients around North, West & South London

We are hiring for a Decontamination Field Service Engineer who would work on-site at NHS hospitals, clinics, and private healthcare facilities, ensuring essential decontamination equipment is operating safely and reliably. Here's what the role typically involves:

- Install and set up medical decontamination equipment such as endoscope washers, autoclaves, instrument washers, ultrasonic baths, and drying cabinets.
- Perform validation and steam-quality testing to confirm units meet operational and safety standards.
- Execute both preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring compliance with device regulations.


- Respond to faults and equipment failures on-site: diagnose issues, carry out repairs, and perform retrofits or upgrades.
- Focus on achieving a high first-time fix rate through expert understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Provide high standards of customer care, guiding clients on correct operation and maintenance practices.


- Prepare comprehensive service reports and maintain strong working relationships with key.

Essential Qualifications
- Experience with decontamination or sterilisation equipment: autoclaves, washer-disinfectors, steam sterilisers.
- A background working within Healthcare/Medical or Dental Industries.
- Strong electrical/mechanical fault-finding abilities and ability to read technical manuals.


- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and customer-focused mindset.
- Full UK driving licence and capacity to work independently onsite.
