Job description

Job Title: EN- Decommissioning Operative

Location: Marfleet, Hull

Contract Details: Temporary 2-week project 7th to 18th April 2025

Salary: £17.84 per hour

Shifts: Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm with the option of completing overtime.

Responsibilities:

As an EN- Decommissioning Operative, you will:

  1. Safely dismantle and decommission equipment and structures
  2. Follow safety protocols and procedures diligently
  3. Work collaboratively with your team to ensure efficient operations
  4. Conduct site inspections and maintain a clean work environment
  5. Report any safety hazards or concerns promptly
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
  1. Previous experience in decommissioning or a related field
  2. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  3. Ability to work in a physically demanding role
  4. Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  5. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
  1. Relevant certifications in decommissioning or safety (e.g., NEBOSH, CSCS)
  2. Familiarity with industrial equipment and machinery
  3. Previous experience in construction or engineering sectors
  4. Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices
Technologies:
  1. Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in decommissioning
  2. Familiarity with safety monitoring and reporting technologies
