Altera Infrastructure is seeking a Deck Operator for an offshore project on the Rosebank FPSO. The role offers a 2:3 offshore rotation, with duties including deck operations, lifting, crane work, mooring, cargo transfers, and helideck duties.

You will work under the Deck Foreman, complying with HSEQ policies and offshore regulations. The ideal candidate will hold OPITO Banksman Slinger Stage 3, OPITO Rigger Stage 3, HERTL, UKCS Offshore Medical, UKCS MIST, and BOSIET/FOET, with CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• OPITO Banksman Slinger Stage 3 (Stage 4 preferred).
• OPITO Rigger Stage 3 (Stage 4 Preferred).
• HERTL.
• UKCS Offshore Medical.
• UKCS MIST.
• UKCS BOSIET or FOET.
• Confined Space Entry Experience.
• Fire Team Experience (Preferred).
• CMMS System Experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the day-to-day activities of the team are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with HSEQ policies.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in conformance with laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and management systems.
• Perform duties as assigned by line manager (Deck Foreman).
• Carry out deck operations under the direction of the Deck Foreman, following procedures and legislation.
• Carry out lifting and rigging work as required.
• Carry out routine Work Orders and report into maintenance system.
• Carry out crane duties as Banksman/Slinger/Load handler.
• Connect and disconnect Shuttle Tanker mooring and cargo transfer arrangements.
• Carry out general deck duties such as cleaning, stores delivery & materials handling.
• Act as Helideck team member.
• Assist with marine work scopes (Tank Confined Space Entry/Anchor Chains/Crane).
• Assist other departments professionally and informatively.
• Act as Work Leader.
• Participate in Risk Assessments and toolbox talks.
• Be part of the Emergency Response Team and follow ER Plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:
