Job summary

Marella Explorer is seeking an experienced Ordinary Seaman to join during the upcoming dry dock in Palma de Mallorca, with joining on 31 October and disembarking on 26 November. This is a temporary assignment.

You will maintain the exterior of the vessel in line with company policies and international standards, assist the Deck department, participate in safety drills, and hold valid STCW certificates. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

Valid STCW95 certification.
Appropriate certification as required by regulations.
Good understanding of exterior maintenance and repair.
Must be fully proficient in operating tender boats and rescue boats.
Experience on board passengers ships in a similar role.
Physically and medically fit.
Moral integrity is required.
Coast Guard and Port State Control experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain exterior of the vessel in accordance with Company Policies and applicable standards.
Assist and support the Deck department in preparation for arrival, loading and discharging operations.
Participate in crew and passenger safety drills and follow safety procedures.
Operate tender boats and rescue boats as required.
Uphold health, safety and environmental regulations on board.
