We are seeking a Deck Crew / Pumpman to mobilise on Tuesday, 3rd June, for approximately 3 weeks. This position is onboard an FPSO in the North Sea.
We are looking for an experienced candidate with helideck experience and relevant certifications.
Rate - £368.85
General
The Deck Crew - Pumpman is responsible to the Marine Lead and Deck Foreman for:
- Operation of cargo and ballast systems as directed by Line Manager, including crude oil washing, tank cleaning, and associated cargo equipment.
- Maintaining all cargo equipment, pumps, valves, COW machines, etc., as required.
- Carrying out mechanical repairs to equipment and pipework as needed.
- Flange management of cargo/ballast systems, including swinging spec blinds.
- Performing manual checks of tank levels and sampling as required.
- Isolating authority over cargo and ballast systems.
- Routine maintenance and repairs of accommodation fittings.
- Ensuring stocks and spares for cargo and ballast systems and accommodation are maintained and ordered as needed.
- Knowledge of PM system, including data input and extraction.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the pump room.
- Carrying out daily routines and checks of cargo and ballast systems.
Additional Responsibilities
- Operation, inspection, and maintenance of lifting equipment as directed.
- Carrying out rigging and lifting operations under supervision.
- Handling stores to/from supply boats and within the installation.
- Performing HDA duties and ensuring safe helicopter operations under the Deck Foreman's guidance.
- Assisting with mooring/unmooring of shuttle tankers and transfer of export hoses.
- Supporting cargo and ballast system operations, including setup and monitoring.
- Assisting in maintenance of cargo equipment and sampling procedures.
- Performing fabric maintenance, including painting and preparation.
- Advising Deck Foreman on deck stock usage and re-ordering.
- Assisting with scaffolding tasks as agreed.
- Ensuring compliance with the Bluewater Competency Assurance scheme.
- Performing other duties, including housekeeping, as directed.
- Perform tasks safely and responsibly.

Education & Experience
Qualifications:
- Combined Offshore Survival, Fire Fighting, and HUET Certificate
- MIST / IMIST
- Oil & Gas UK Offshore Medical Certificate
- Oil & Gas UK Certificate of Fitness for Emergency Response Team Duties
- Tradesman qualification or equivalent experience
