iPS Powerful People (B Corp™) is seeking an Able Seaman to manage deck maintenance, mooring, and cargo operations on a Split Hopper Barge. Your seamanship ensures safe voyages and smooth operations across our maritime projects.

The role requires relevant maritime experience, STCW certificates, and a UK Frontier Worker Permit. Experience on dredgers or offshore vessels is advantageous; CoC II/5 is mandatory, with opportunities to advance to senior deck roles.

• Maritime experience relevant to the Able Seaman role.
• Valid STCW certificates for rank.
• UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP) required.
• Experience on dredgers or offshore vessels is an advantage.
• CoC II/5 holder is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain top-deck safety and deck maintenance.
• Assist bridge team with watchkeeping.
• Respond to mooring and anchoring tasks.
• Inspect cargo gear and deck equipment.
• Work with the deck crew to build teamwork.
• Opportunities for progression into senior deck roles.
