Job summary

Neutreeno is seeking a Decarbonisation Model Engineer to fuse engineering, economics and data science. You will build bottom-up models for energy and material efficiency, quantify CO2 reduction opportunities and value across sectors, and contribute to a carbon pricing engine.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with focus on techno-economic modelling and energy efficiency.
• Experience communicating complex concepts to varied audiences.
• Proven ability to validate, document and version-control models.

Responsibilities

• Build bottom-up models from first principles for decarbonisation levers.
• Quantify energy/material efficiency opportunities and BAT.
• Develop techno-economic analyses including CAPEX/OPEX and MACCs.
• Model carbon pricing scenarios and green finance opportunities.
• Mentor junior engineers and write reproducible Python code.
• Collaborate across engineering, economics and data science.
