Qualifications

• Knowledge of decarbonisation technologies and energy efficiency best practices.
• Experience conducting energy and decarbonisation surveys across varied property types.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct decarbonisation and energy-efficiency assessments across priority NHSPS properties.
• Produce clear technical reports and recommendations for deliverable projects.
• Review designs to meet compliance, standards and operational needs.
• Advise on feasibility, costs, benefits and enabling works for low/zero-carbon tech.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop practical decarbonisation solutions.
• Ensure governance, standards and best practices are upheld during planning and implementation.
• Contribute to policy development supporting consistent delivery of low-carbon systems.
• Monitor risks and progress, supporting reporting and continuous improvement.
• Report incidents and ensure required training for responsible managers.
