Job description

Job Title: Deburr Technician

I am seeking an experienced Deburr Technician to join my renowned production engineering client based just north of Heathrow Airport, West London.

Role: Deburr Technician
Location: Hayes, Middlesex
Shift: Monday - Friday, alternating weekly between early and late shifts.
Salary: £25,627 - £30,000 plus shift allowance

Main Responsibilities
  • Hand finishing components to high standards, including polishing to improve surface finishes and remove corrosion.
  • Undertaking blending, polishing, and corrosion removal of aircraft components using pneumatic tooling.
  • Performing local NDT to assist in dressing ladder cracks.
  • Utilizing pneumatic tools and various abrasive grades of flap wheels (desirable but not essential).
Essential Experience
  • Engineering apprenticeship preferred but not essential.
  • General engineering experience desirable.
  • Ability to work shifts (early and late).
  • Previous experience working with metals and using small hand tools.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to read engineering drawings (helpful but not essential).
  • Good knowledge of hand finishing techniques and engineering drawings is beneficial.
