Job Description

The Debt Recovery/Credit Control Paralegal will be:

• Managing debt recovery matters for clients, including universities, credit unions, and debt collection agencies.
• Handling both consumer and commercial cases, ensuring timely and efficient resolutions.
• Drafting legal documents such as demand letters, claims, and settlement agreements.
• Providing legal support to senior fee earners and clients.
• Maintaining case files and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

The Debt Recovery/Credit Control Paralegal should be:

• A paralegal or equivalent ideally with experience in debt recovery or credit control (1-2 years preferred).
• Familiar with consumer and commercial debt recovery processes.
• Strong in communication, client-facing interactions, and managing multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage deadlines effectively.
• Experience using case management systems.
