Oyster have been retained by an international student accommodation investment platform, in their search for a Debt Capital Analyst to join its growing team in London. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in the full lifecycle of institutional-grade debt transactions, working closely with senior stakeholders, international lenders, and advisors to support complex deal structuring and portfolio financing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Support the origination, structuring, and execution of real estate debt and capital arrangements across global markets.
Prepare and review financial models, information memorandums, teasers, and term sheets.
Coordinate due diligence processes and interact with legal, financial, and operational advisors.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams (investment, asset management, fund management) to monitor loan covenants, manage debt reporting, and support refinancing activity.
Conduct market research to support strategic investment decisions and new market entry.
Prepare internal credit memos and presentations for investment committee review.
Liaise with international banking, advisory, and investor networks.
Candidate Profile
1–3 years' experience in a structured finance or banking role - preferably within a graduate programme or real estate capital markets function.
Strong technical and commercial skillset, with advanced proficiency in Excel modelling and analytical presentation.
Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Educated to degree level (2:1 or above) in finance, economics, real estate, or a related analytical field.
Preferred
Experience in residential, student accommodation, or hospitality sectors.
Additional fluency in a European language.
