Job description

Oyster have partnered with an international student accommodation investment platform, in their search for a Debt Capital Analyst to join its growing team, in London. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in the full lifecycle of institutional-grade debt transactions, working closely with senior stakeholders, international lenders, and advisors to support complex deal structuring and portfolio financing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the origination, structuring, and execution of real estate debt and capital arrangements across global markets.
  • Prepare and review financial models, information memorandums, teasers, and term sheets.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes and interact with legal, financial, and operational advisors.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (investment, asset management, fund management) to monitor loan covenants, manage debt reporting, and support refinancing activity.
  • Conduct market research to support strategic investment decisions and new market entry.
  • Prepare internal credit memos and presentations for investment committee review.
  • Liaise with international banking, advisory, and investor networks.

Candidate Profile

  • 1–3 years' experience in a structured finance or banking role - preferably within a graduate programme or real estate capital markets function.
  • Strong technical and commercial skillset, with advanced proficiency in Excel modelling and analytical presentation.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Educated to degree level (2:1 or above) in finance, economics, real estate, or a related analytical field.

Preferred

  • Experience in residential, student accommodation, or hospitality sectors.
  • Additional fluency in a European language.
