Job summary

Arden University is seeking an accomplished Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Technology to provide strategic and academic leadership for a large and dynamic community. You will report to the Provost and Chief Academic Officer and translate institutional strategy into clear priorities across blended, online and campus learning environments.

Qualifications

• Accomplished and credible academic leader with significant experience at Dean, Head of School, Associate Dean or equivalent level.
• Proven track record of improving student outcomes, teaching quality, academic performance and organisational effectiveness.
• Strategic thinker with commercial and operational awareness.
• Experience leading large-scale change and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of the UK higher education landscape, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Passion for exceptional student experiences and innovation in learning, teaching and assessment including digital technologies and AI.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and academic leadership for one of Arden University's largest academic communities.
