Role

Hult International Business School seeks a dynamic, visionary, and accomplished leader to serve as Dean of Undergraduate Programs at its London campus. This is a senior leadership position with direct responsibility for the planning, delivery, and continued innovation of Hult’s undergraduate programs in London, serving approximately 1,000 students.

The Dean serves as the academic and administrative leader for the campus's undergraduate program. This role requires a combination of academic leadership, operational excellence, entrepreneurial thinking, and a deep commitment to student success and global engagement.

Responsibilities

Strategic Direction

  • Collaboratively develop and implement a future-focused academic vision that keeps Hult’s undergraduate programs innovative, experiential, and industry-relevant.
  • Ensure high academic standards across teaching, curriculum design, and program delivery.
  • Support program design initiatives and curriculum innovation aligned with Hult’s mission and global strategy.
  • Maintain alignment with global academic leadership and peers in Boston and Dubai to ensure consistency and excellence across campuses.
  • Actively contribute to strategic planning processes, working closely with the global undergraduate team.
Faculty Leadership
  • Recruit, develop, and evaluate full-time and adjunct faculty, fostering a high-performance culture rooted in collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the operational execution of the academic program in London, including budgeting, faculty support, and academic scheduling.
  • Support the adoption of active and experiential learning methods across the faculty team.
  • Facilitate professional development and mentorship for faculty members in teaching and research.
Student Experience
  • Cultivate a student-first culture that prioritizes engagement, retention, satisfaction, positive outcomes, and career readiness.
  • Regularly meet with students and utilize feedback mechanisms to drive ongoing program improvements.
  • Coordinate the various teams involved in delivering the student experience including Program Management, Faculty, Campus Life and Operations, Student Life, Career Services and Employer Relations, and other departments to ensure a seamless and transformative student journey from enrolment to graduation.
  • Handle student, faculty, or administrative issues with diplomacy, care, and fairness.
Global Collaboration & External Partnerships
  • Represent the London campus in global leadership forums and contribute to Hult-wide initiatives.
  • Expand and strengthen ties with industry partners, alumni, and local organizations to create meaningful learning and career opportunities.
  • Support recruitment and retention efforts through active participation in admissions events and school branding initiatives.
Candidate Profile
  • A doctorate or equivalent terminal degree (or in progress) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of academic leadership experience with evidence of budget and team management responsibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead program innovation, manage academic operations, and drive organizational change.
  • Proven track record in faculty management, curriculum development, and student engagement.
  • Develop, mentor, and inspire team members to achieve their full potential, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Committed to excellence in global education and passionate about innovation in business school environments.
  • Culturally intelligent, collaborative, and capable of building consensus across diverse stakeholders.
