Job summary

Staffordshire University seeks an Associate Dean - Students to shape the student experience across the School of Health, Education, Policing and Sciences. You will lead strategic and operational aspects of learning, teaching, engagement and graduate outcomes.

You will collaborate with Course Directors and senior teams to drive improvements in satisfaction and success, promoting inclusive educational practice and alignment with institutional priorities.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in higher education.
• Strong track record of improving student outcomes and experiences.
• Expertise in student support, wellbeing, inclusion and academic success.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Postgraduate qualification (or equivalent), a teaching qualification, and Senior Fellowship of Advance HE.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the student experience across the School of Health, Education, Policing and Sciences.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for learning, teaching, student engagement, retention, progression and graduate outcomes.
• Collaborate with Course Directors, Heads of Department and professional service teams to drive continuous improvement in student satisfaction and success.
• Champion inclusive and innovative educational practice and ensure delivery against institutional priorities and performance measures.
