About the role

This Real Estate Director role is part of the Real Estate Deals Tax team, the largest specialist real estate transactions tax team in PwC's global network. This fast-growing team fosters an energetic, fast-paced culture. We advise on a high volume of direct and indirect real estate transactions both in the UK and internationally. Our team is committed to collaboration and cross-disciplinary work to drive innovation and success in servicing clients. We are supported by specialists in stamp tax, VAT, capital allowances, construction industry schemes, tax compliance, finance, and treasury. The Real Estate Deals team also works closely with our Infrastructure and Real Estate Credit teams, across various service lines and overseas offices.

What your days will look like:

1. Leading teams to deliver bespoke, commercially focused tax advice in a dynamic international deals market.
2. Building and maintaining relationships as a trusted advisor; leading client engagements and cross-team solutions within our Deals business.
3. Contributing to the strategic vision of the Real Estate Deals Tax Team, identifying opportunities for growth and diversification.
4. Leading by example in personal development and coaching your team to enhance their skills and potential.

This role is for you if:

• You have extensive experience leading teams on Real Estate transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and tax modeling.
• You possess a strong understanding of indirect and transfer taxes, management taxes, and international tax principles.
• You have a proven track record of building internal and external relationships both within the UK and internationally.
• You are skilled at winning client engagements and developing new business relationships.
