Job summary

Corient in Jersey seeks a proactive, detail‑oriented candidate to support the Dealing and Treasury Services team. You will help with trade inputting/execution, trade reporting, account opening, and client onboarding, acting as a bridge between the dealing desk, clients, and external counterparties.

This role offers training to become part of the broking function, with regular exposure to equities, fixed income, funds, and other asset classes, and development in risk screening and due diligence.

Qualifications

• Graduate calibre preferred or recently completed their A Levels or equivalent qualifications.
• Post holder must hold or be willing to undertake relevant professional studies (e.g., ACI Dealing Certificate, CISI Level 4)
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Support the Dealing team with day-to-day duties and respond to queries relating to trades placed by the Dealing Desk.
• Assist with placing trades across asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, Commodities, Forex) via internal and external platforms, email, and phone.
• Support trade bookings and reporting, and instruct corporate action elections.
• Proactively review processes to optimize procedures, improve efficiencies, and minimize risks.
• Develop knowledge of CDTS platforms, trading, corporate actions, reporting, and client data management.
• Generate reports and source information for the team and clients.
• Learn account opening and client onboarding, including customer due diligence and risk screening requirements.
• Keep up-to-date with industry and market knowledge to better service clients and advisors.
