Our client is a main car dealership who is looking to recruit an experienced Accountant to join their current team.

For this position, you must have previous experience working within a main dealership.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Prepare regular and timely reports for Managers and Franchise Directors on stocks and debtors
• Assist with the Group cash flow situation, credit control, debt collection, warranty claims, etc.
• Prepare regular bank reports and forecasts
• Reconciliation, control, and correction of key balance sheet accounts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end accounts to a satisfactory level and in accordance with statutory and company requirements.
• Monitor and correct vehicle sales P&L accounts
• Monitor and control Kerridge Autoline error reports
• Control of payroll and associated reporting
• Ensure high standards of administration and record keeping in compliance with accounting practices and company procedures.
• Ensure the prompt, smooth, and methodical flow of work.

About You:

• Experience as a management accountant within the motor trade
• Part or fully AAT qualified, or possess an equivalent qualification
• Kerridge ADP experience is strongly desired
• Ability to work efficiently to complete tasks and motivate your team
• Capability to handle larger projects while managing daily workload
