A leading automotive retailer seeks a Dealership Accountant for their Belfast location. You will lead a dynamic team, produce management accounts, and analyze financial reports, contributing significantly to operational success. Ideal for candidates experienced in accountancy, especially within the motor trade.

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Salary: £42,000 - £52,500 per annum, based on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm (37.5 hours)

If you want to lead a fun and exciting Accounts department (yes you read that right) then you're in the correct place!
Are you motivated by balancing balance sheets, reviewing budgets and expenditure, or producing monthly, quarterly, and full year-end accounts? If so, you're almost the perfect candidate for this role. Experience in an accountancy role within the motor trade would be advantageous, but is not essential if you have substantial accounting experience.
You will need to be business-savvy, articulate, investigative, and organized. You'll work with a wide team and with the support of our Financial Controller, with no limits to what you can achieve.
Our Charles Hurst division is recruiting a highly dynamic and experienced Dealership Accountant to join our friendly team. You will lead our team of account assistants and assistant accountants to provide an exceptional accounts experience to the division.
Reporting to the Retail Operations Financial Controller, you will be a strong leader within the team. This role is based on Boucher Road in Belfast.
Our Dealership Accountants provide financial support across operational, financial, and divisional management areas. They are strong leaders who integrate well with the management team.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling high account volumes and a keen eye for detail. Experience in the motor trade is preferred but not essential. Proactivity, dynamism, and confidence are key qualities.
Experience with Kerridge software would be advantageous, though training will be provided.
