Job Summary

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, is a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings, ranging from data centres to the headquarters of some of the world's largest companies. To support our teams, we're looking to add a Deal Desk Analyst to our team, working remotely in the UK.

Reporting to the Director, Material Quotation, the Deal Desk Analyst will manage the end-to-end Quote to Cash (QTC) process for strategic deals, ensuring a seamless handoff from quoting to shipment and revenue recognition. Collaboration with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Project, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams is essential to align on deal requirements and approvals.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Validate deal target price accuracy, integrity, and compliance; monitor and resolve gating issues such as pricing gaps, contract bottlenecks, product certifications, shipment compliance, and material shortages.
  2. Track key deal KPIs including win rate, deal cycle time, margin realization, and quote-to-order conversion.
  3. Coordinate with Legal for contract routing, approval, and documentation to ensure timely execution and audit readiness.
  4. Drive resolution on issues impacting deal closure or shipment.
  5. Provide strategic pricing insights based on customer and sales feedback.
  6. Conduct competitor price comparisons and support pricing strategy development.
  7. Analyze deal-level data to inform customer behavior and outcomes.
  8. Support internal reporting on deal pipeline and margin risks.
  9. Perform forecast vs. actual analysis on quoted deals.
  10. Maintain standardized deal documentation and approval templates.
  11. Build dashboards and scorecards for internal visibility.
  12. Analyze margin trends, discounting, and pricing exceptions for improvements.
  13. Support special pricing scenarios and evaluate risks.
  14. Participate in UAT, QA, and system enhancement feedback.

Desired experience includes:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics; MBA preferred.
  2. At least 3 years in Deal Desk operations or Quote-to-Cash processes managing complex workflows.
  3. Ownership mindset for the full Quote-to-Cash lifecycle.
  4. Highly organized with strong project management skills.
  5. Analytical, data-driven, with margin and performance analysis skills.
  6. Proficient in Excel and reporting tools.
  7. Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  8. Commercial acumen with understanding of deal structures and customer behavior.
  9. Solution-focused and proactive problem solver.
  10. UK driving license and willingness to travel within UK, Europe, and US occasionally.
  11. Bilingual skills in Mandarin are a plus.

What you’ll receive:

  • An environment where your work is valued and your success celebrated.
  • Competitive salary and benefits, including annual pay review, enhanced leave, recognition schemes, referral bonuses, volunteer days, insurance, and health support.
  • Flexible/Remote/Hybrid work options.
  • Travel opportunities (role dependent).
  • Well-being support including Employee Assistance Program and mental health resources.
  • Access to discounts on various services and products.
