Full Description:

We are currently representing a rapidly expandinginvestment platform specialising in providing bespoke debt financingsolutions—including mezzanine finance, subordinated debt, andstructured credit—to a diverse range of UK-based financialinstitutions and alternative finance platforms.

This role offers an exciting opportunity at Associate level fora transaction-focused professional. Working closely alongsideexperienced Directors and Senior Investment professionals, you'll beinvolved in all stages of the deal lifecycle, from initial duediligence and financial modelling through to deal structuring, creditapproval processes, and completion.

Yourresponsibilities will include detailed financial analysis, credit riskevaluation, cash-flow and scenario modelling, drafting comprehensivecredit papers, and preparing investment committee presentations. Youwill regularly engage with clients and external stakeholders,maintaining active communication throughout the transaction lifecycle,and play a central role in coordinating deal processes internally.

This role is highly suited to professionals withexisting experience in Structured Debt, Mezzanine Finance, SpecialtyFinance, or similar transaction-focused environments. The idealcandidate will be analytically rigorous, commercially astute, and keento develop deeper exposure to innovative financing solutions in afast-paced environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, particularlyadvanced Excel modelling capabilities.
  • Proven experience infinancial analysis, credit risk assessments, and transactionstructuring.
  • Familiarity with mezzanine debt, subordinatedfinancing, structured credit or related financing structures.
  • Understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis,and relevant credit metrics.
  • Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients andinternal stakeholders.
  • Ambitious mindset, self-driven, andmotivated by continued professional development.
