You will work with software architects and technical leads, define interface specifications (IDL), and drive best practices while delivering reliable software.

Software Engineer - Data Distribution Bristol Hybrid

We're supporting a leading engineering organisation in the search for a Software Design Engineer to join a highly skilled team developing advanced communications and data solutions within a complex, safety-critical environment.

Working Pattern: Hybrid (predominantly site-based)
Security Requirements: Candidates must be eligible for UK security clearance.

The Role

This is a hands-on software design position focused on the development and evolution of a core communications data model used across a common product platform.

Working alongside Software Architects and Technical Leads, you'll play a key role in system architecture, interface design, data modelling, and software design activities. You'll also provide technical guidance to engineering teams, drive best practice, and support the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions.
