Job summary

JERA Nex bp in London is seeking an experienced DCO Application Lead to coordinate all consents for the Morven Hawthorn Pit Grid Connection Project. You will oversee PEIR, application docs, and examination processes, interfacing with legal advisers, consultants and stakeholders.

The role requires strong knowledge of Planning Act 2008, DCO, PINS procedures, and experience delivering major infrastructure consents in the UK, with fluency in English and excellent stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental planning, town planning, environmental science, engineering or law.
• Strong knowledge of Planning Act 2008, DCO process and PINS procedures.
• Experience supporting or managing DCO applications or major infrastructure consents in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PEIR, application and examination documentation for DCO.
• Lead delivery of all documents required for submission and examination.
• Act as primary contact for procedural matters in DCO applications.
• Ensure compliance with Planning Inspectorate procedures and governance.
• Maintain logs, change logs and document registers.
