Job summary

Mercer is seeking a DC Pensions Consultant to join our specialist team delivering DC pension services to a large portfolio of clients. This hybrid role offers three days in the office and flexible working, with offices in London, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham or Edinburgh.

You will lead as a consultant on mid-size to large clients, review work from analysts, manage budgets, and drive revenue growth across defined contribution investments. CFA study is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Proven DC pensions consulting experience.
• Ability to develop excellent working relationships with colleagues, clients and provider contacts at all levels.
• Client relationship management experience.
• CFA or studying towards CFA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead investment consultant on mid-size to large clients delivering and promoting Mercer services.
• Provide support to the lead consultant on large, complex clients.
• Review work produced by analysts and junior consultants using Mercer tools.
• Manage client relationships and budgets; support defined contribution investments.
• Drive proactive revenue from existing clients and extend services across lines of business.

Mercer is seeking a DC Pensions Consultant to join our specialist team in the delivery of DC pension services to a large portfolio of clients. Mercer has one of the largest fully integrated group of DC experts in the UK (including governance, scheme design, investment consultants, provider and technical researchers and technicians).

This exciting growth area of Mercer’s UK business is a key strategic focus and delivers both successful pension and savings solutions for clients and career opportunities for our talented colleagues. Our collaborative culture within the team drives and naturally promotes our successful growth of winning new business and maintaining strong existing relationships.

This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to work at least three days per week in the office, offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with a highly experienced and supportive team while also benefiting from flexible working. This role can be based in either our London , Manchester , Leeds, Bristol , Birmingham or Edinburgh offices.

We will count on you to:

• Serve as a lead investment consultant on mid-size to large clients delivering and promoting our services

• Provides support to lead consultant on our largest and more complex clients

• Review work produced by analysts and junior consultants using Mercer software/tools

• Role may include wider client relationship management for some clients

• Manage budgets and commercial relationships with clients

• Provide support and advise internal Mercer teams regarding defined contribution investments

• Have responsibility for proactive revenue generation of existing clients and aim to extend the range of services provided by other lines of business as appropriate
