Qualifications

Job description

Within our Employee Benefits business, our dedicated Defined Contribution investment specialism offers full investment consulting services to trustees, sponsors and governance committees of DC pension schemes. Our DC Investment team has grown significantly over the last few years and is a key growth area for Isio over the next few years due to the increasing demand for quality investment advice in the DC market.

We are looking for a DC Investment Senior Analyst with strong technical and communication skills, backed up with a commercial outlook and internal drive.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Day to day client team lead on a portfolio of DC clients as well as supporting on advising large Own Trust and Master Trust clients.
  • Production of DC investment reports on fund selection, default strategy reviews, ESG integration, quarterly investment performance reports and other DC investment issues. Typically involved in the reviewer capacity when producing these reports.
  • Involvement in designing and implementing innovative DC investment strategies for the modern world.
  • Research of provider default strategies and fund managers.
  • Support reviews of pension providers, analysis of tender responses and drafting of high-quality summaries and reports.
  • Support clients looking to move to a new DC vehicle for future pension provision.
  • Attending client meetings with other members of the team and contributing to the delivery of advice where appropriate.
  • Taking responsibility for checking the work of more junior members of the team.
  • Acting as a point of contact for a range of clients, that include leading Master Trusts, own trusts, GPPs as well as supporting clients looking to move from one arrangement to another.
  • Internal support to management functions including development of junior team members (including helping new graduates settle in and training).
  • Contributing to new business activities including involvement with tender submissions.
