DBS School Caretaker/Janitor - Nottinghamshire
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker to join our team in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing a safe and clean environment for our students and staff. As a School Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our school, ensuring that the premises are well-maintained and conducive to learning.

The ideal candidate will have an Enhanced Child DBS certificate, but we can process one for you to enable you to work in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor areas.
2. Conduct regular inspections of the school premises to identify maintenance needs and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
3. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, and upkeep of school grounds.
4. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
5. Assist with the setup and breakdown of school events, including assemblies, sports days, and community meetings.
6. Monitor and manage the security of the school premises, including locking and unlocking doors, and responding to any security concerns.
7. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and administration to support the needs of the school community.

Qualifications:
