Job summary

Adecco is seeking a reliable DBS Cleaner to support a local school in Chelmsford. The role starts on Tuesday 1st September and pays £13.00 per hour. Initial duties include cleaning classrooms following LED lighting replacement works completed during the summer break.

This position requires a current DBS check and willingness to complete mandatory school-based training. Ongoing hours are after induction, with shifts typically 3:30pm–5:30pm or 4:00pm–6:00pm, with occasional 8:00am–4:00pm work.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required or willing to obtain one.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Reliable and punctual at all times.
• Able to work independently and follow school training requirements.

DBS Cleaner - Chelmsford

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Start Date : Tuesday 1st September

We are looking for a reliable DBS Cleaner to support a local school in Chelmsford. Initially, you will assist with cleaning classrooms following extensive LED lighting replacement works completed during the school summer break.

This role requires a current DBS check and the successful candidate must be willing to complete mandatory school-based training.

Initial Schedule

Tuesday 1st September

4 hours of cleaning and 1.5 hours of online safeguarding training.

Hours can be worked at any time between 8:00am and 4:00pm

Duties will involve assisting with any outstanding cleaning requirements within classrooms following the lighting installation project.

Ongoing Hours

Following the initial induction and training period, regular working hours will be:

• 3:30pm to 5:30pm


• 4:00pm to 6:00pm

Candidate Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Check on the Update System (or willingness to undergo one if applicable)


• Previous cleaning experience preferred


• Reliable and punctual


• Able to work independently


• Willing to complete mandatory school training requirements
