We are currently looking for an MEP Technician to join our projects team and be part of our latest expansion and upcoming project in St. George's Bay, Malta. An exceptionally designed and built destination that includes a 5* Hard Rock Hotel, luxury homes, renowned restaurants and an upscale shopping mall that is set to add tremendous value to the local area.

Overview

The MEP Technician is responsible for interventions related to troubleshooting, repairs or installations on any type of system or equipment pertaining to plant, facilities, kitchen, guest rooms, gardening and pools as required and to carry preventative measures as per schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Assists in maintaining and solving issues on various types of electrical systems, pumps, chillers, air handling units, exhaust fans and piping systems.
  • Performs mechanical, electrical and plumbing works.
  • Do periodic inspections to identify possible faults and take remedial action.
  • Installs insulation.
  • Performs ductwork repair and installation as directed.
  • Use and monitor the building and rooms management systems
  • Works on projects throughout the entire facility, running conduit, pulling wire and connecting devices, using lifts and ladders.
  • Performs basic equipment repairs and similar duties that require little or no oversight or direction.
  • Repairs and adjusts system components or removes and replaces defective parts.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Performs related work as required.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
  • Certificate in HVAC, Wireman License A or B, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
