Job summary

The Emerald Group is seeking an actuarial professional to support our Defined Benefits operations in London/Reigate. The role centers on member option calculations, onboarding schemes to automated tools, and responding to queries from the Operations team.

We welcome part- or newly-qualified actuaries, or those with equivalent experience, and require DB pension experience. You will act as a DB SME, contributing to calculation accuracy and tool development.

Qualifications

• Defined benefit experience is essential.
• Experience in DB pensions consultancy or life insurer or equivalent.
• Actuarial calculations and member option tools knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide calculation support for DB member option calculations.
• Test and sign off onboarding of schemes onto automated tools.
• Act as SME for DB questions from Operations and scheme triage.
• Develop and refine features of member option calculation tools.
