Job summary

Just Group plc is seeking a DB Actuarial Analyst to support pricing and actuarial input for data true ups and in-force business tasks. Based in London or Reigate, this hybrid role focuses on timely scheme valuations, member calculations, and clear client deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have an actuarial or maths background, an interest in actuarial careers, and strong Excel skills. The team values collaboration, innovation, and delivery against tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Actuarial or Maths related degree is desirable, and/or FIA qualification with some relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Good IT skills, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of True up, DB Actuary and DB Senior Actuarial Analyst in accurate and timely delivery of data true ups.
• Prepare internal sign off documentation produced for each quotation, ensuring results are presented clearly with all material judgements and limitations.
• Prepare drafts of client deliverables / data true up letters for external issue.
• Carry out BAU work for in-force business including scheme valuations.
• Prepare scheme valuations and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare individual member calculations and ensure timely delivery.
• Develop knowledge of systems and tools used by the True up team.
• Promote collaboration and drive projects forward to meet timescales.
