Job summary

Search Consultancy Ltd is recruiting an experienced Sous Chef to join a busy kitchen in Isleworth within a care setting. You will lead a kitchen team, prepare fresh, seasonal meals, and ensure dietary needs are met, with daytime hours and a favourable work-life balance.

You will support the Head Chef in menu planning, manage stock and costs, and uphold Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards. The role offers an excellent training path and opportunities for progression within a growing

Qualifications

• Has previous experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Chef or similar role in a busy kitchen.
• Is passionate about producing high-quality, fresh food.
• Has experience catering for a variety of dietary requirements.
• Can lead and motivate a team with confidence.
• Holds a Food Hygiene qualification (or is willing to work towards one).
• Is organised, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
• Prepare fresh, nutritious, and diet-specific meals for residents.
• Support menu planning and development using seasonal ingredients.
• Manage stock levels and help control food costs.
• Ensure full compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations.
• Supervise, train, and support kitchen team members.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food presentation.
