Job summary

Midlands Care is recruiting a Day Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Nuneaton. You will provide person-centred care to our elderly residents, promoting their independence, dignity and privacy. Training, an induction with Care Certificate and DBS checks are part of the process.

The role supports a variety of shift patterns and offers a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing development through our Learning Academy.

Qualifications

No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.
Team-oriented attitude and good interpersonal skills are essential.
Commitment to delivering high-quality care and respecting residents' dignity.
Enhanced DBS check will be undertaken during recruitment.

Responsibilities

Prioritise the provision of person-centred care to elderly residents, promoting independence, dignity and privacy.
Adhere to policies, procedures and practices within the care environment.
Work collaboratively with the care team to foster a positive, supportive working environment.
Participate in comprehensive training programs throughout the year, including mandatory and supplementary courses.
Complete induction including enrolment in Care Certificate to enhance compassionate care.
