Job Description:

Role Summary: The Shift Manager reports to the Operations Manager and leads all aspects of the daily shift operation in a cost-effective and productive manner. Responsibilities include ensuring service aligns with SLAs and KPIs, managing colleagues, and achieving customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage warehousing operations, ensuring accurate sortation of goods.
  2. Ensure activities comply with company policies in a safe and proactive manner.
  3. Manage costs and performance of the shift.
  4. Drive excellent customer service through team engagement.
  5. Manage performance, conduct, absence, engagement, and training of team members, holding them accountable to standards.
  6. Monitor KPIs, identify actions, and communicate improvements.
  7. Provide shift summaries and handovers, detailing any exceptions and actions taken.
Essential Criteria:
  • Previous experience in logistics or distribution industry.
