£48,000

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Days Shift Engineer to join a well-known UK food manufacturer in the Peterborough area.

With no day ever being the same, the Days Shift Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This site’s growth continues due to further investment and expansion in their market.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Operate in an FMCG environment
2. Perform 10% breakdown maintenance
3. Work on PPMs and project tasks
4. Collaborate with a larger team of engineers to reduce downtime and improve efficiencies
5. Develop within a growing company

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

1. 5+ years in manufacturing engineering
2. Experience in food, beverage, pharma, or hygiene sectors
3. Electrical knowledge
4. Ability to work independently
5. Balanced mechanical and electrical skills (60/40)
