A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-known UK company in the Avonmouth area! With diverse daily tasks, this role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

• PPM and reactive maintenance on pumps, sluices, motors, gearboxes
• Complete planned, corrective, and reactive maintenance in various environments
• Read OEM Manuals and Technical Drawings
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and HSE regulations
• Coordinate with operations to prioritize repairs using fault-finding diagnostics, minimizing reactive maintenance

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Strong hydraulic and pneumatic experience
• 5+ years practical engineering experience
• Strong digital skills, including SAP
• Management or supervisory experience (beneficial)
• Good understanding of engineering management systems and processes
• UK Driver's License
• Ability to ensure quality standards in maintenance and feedback recording
