Days Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Birmingham!

£42,000 - £45,000

Monday - Friday - 7:30am - 3:30pm

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Days Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Birmingham Area!

With no day ever being the same the Days Electrical Maintenance Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

Carry out maintenance on equipment during non-planned and planned maintenance shuts in a timely manner

Maintenance and repair of medium and low voltage systems, AC and DC, Variable speed drives, instrumentation and pneumatics

Undertake projects of improvement, extension or modification or equipment in order to optimise efficiency, reliability and safety.

Engage and participate in the continuous improvement culture

Monitor and calibrate temperature, flow and pressure system

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Plastics / Packaging / Food / FMCG Industry experience
  • A recognised Trade Apprenticeship and HNC or equivalent.
  • PLC Fault finding knowledge and experience
  • Experience of medium and low voltage systems
  • Knowledge of monitoring and calibration of temperature, flow and pressure and fault finding experience
  • Strong experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • 18th Edition
