Job summary

CV Technical is seeking a Mechanical OR Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Dronfield site. The role operates on a Panama days shift (6am-6pm) and offers a £52,000 per annum salary on a permanent basis.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and drive improvements to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. You’ll work with production teams to minimise downtime and uphold high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Engineer.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Engineering qualification or apprenticeship is recognised.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
• Completing preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Working on motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps and associated machinery.
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and to a high standard.
• Working closely with production teams to maintain efficient plant operation.
