Job summary

InPost UK in the Leicester area is seeking a Days Warehouse Supervisor to join our Lutterworth team. You will supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, lead a dedicated team, ensure deadlines, quality and efficiency.

Reporting to the Shift Manager, you’ll manage staffing, rota planning, and safety, while collaborating across departments to keep operations running smoothly at Magna Park, LE17 4XT. Shift patterns and hours are varied, with an hourly rate of £16.15–£16.63.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced Warehouse, Distribution or Logistics environment.
• Supervisory experience with ability to motivate and manage teams to achieve targets.
• Clear and effective communication to provide direction under pressure and collaborate across teams.
• Strong prioritization and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient computer skills; experience with Outlook, Word and Excel; familiarity with warehouse management systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead with passion to motivate your team and meet productivity targets and deadlines.
• Assist in planning and forecasting staffing requirements, rota management and annual leave planning.
• Ensure labelling, sortation and warehouse productivity targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
• Induct new staff and provide ongoing training to staff and contractors for safe, efficient performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation across the business.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Follow company policies consistently and uphold safety training for all team members.
• Prioritize safety and ensure a safe working environment and adherence to regulations.
