Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC) to plan and manage patient care programmes within the Day Surgery Unit at Tiverton. The role offers 28.5 hours per week over three weekday shifts (8am–6pm) with no nights or weekends, on a fixed-term contract to September 2027.

The post requires NMC/HCPC registration, excellent communication, interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and the ability to work flexibly

Qualifications

• NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• HCPC registration as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP).

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage individual care programmes for patients within the Day Surgery Unit.
• Deliver high quality, professional and friendly care.
• Work flexibly across other Day Surgery Units when required.
