Job summary

Social Care Worker (Days) within City Wide in Edinburgh supports adults in residential care across Jewel House and Ferrylee, working 36 hours weekly with pro-rata pay for part-time roles.

Salary ranges from £27,257 to £29,850 per year. The post offers training, excellent holiday entitlement, a generous pension and career progression toward SVQ level 3, with PVG checks required before starting.

Qualifications

• Minimum SVQ2 in Health and Social Care required.
• Ability to support adults in care settings with dignity and respect.
• Willingness to work towards SVQ3 and engage in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing and meals.
• Support independence and maintain dignity in daily activities.
• Work across care homes and shifts as required.
