The Role

We are currently looking for an individual to join the day cleaning team who are tasked with ensuring the trains meet a high standard of cleanliness before resuming service on a full-time basis. This will involve full interior cleaning with tasks including mopping, hoovering and touch point cleaning as part of the interior cleaning team at York.

This role has an existing 7 day roster working on a four on-four off or five on-four off shift patter with the working hours of 9:00am – 7:00pm week rolling rota, including Sunday – Saturday. Full flexibility is required.

The pay rate for the day shift train cleaner position will be at £12.60 per hour on an initial 6-month basis.

About You

Ideally, you will be experienced within a vehicle/industrial or house cleaning environment.

You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering a clean and safe environment clean for customers.

Training is provided covering depot protection, site safety and cleaning solutions. Work is undertaken in a safety critical environment so you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
