Job summary

Staffline, working in partnership with G4S, is recruiting a Security Officer for a Plymouth site. You will patrol the premises, respond to incidents, and ensure customer standards are met at all times to keep the site safe and welcoming.

The role is 42 hours per week with a 5 on/4 off or 4 on/5 off pattern, days only (07:00–19:00). SIA licenses (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor) are required. You should be an effective communicator with strong customer service and IT skills.

Qualifications

• SIA license (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor) required.
• 18+ and confident communicator with customer-focused approach.
• Team player with friendly and professional service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling, externally and internally.
• Responding to first aid, security and fire alarm responses.
• Incident report writing.
• Liaising with visitors and customers.
• Access and egress control.
• Checking passes, badges and IDs.
