Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking a Temporary Day Shift Production Operator for its food manufacturing site in Uddingston. You will operate production machinery, assemble and pack food products, and ensure hygiene and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have prior food production experience, are reliable and punctual, and can work day shifts from Monday to Friday as described. Basic English communication is required.

Temporary Day Shift Production Operator - Food Manufacturing

Location: Uddingston

Shift: Day shift - Monday to Thursday 7am-3.30pm and Friday 7am-2.30pm

Contract: Temporary on going

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous food production or factory experience who is reliable and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
• Handling, assembling, and packing food products to quality standards
• Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and equipment
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience within a food production environment
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work back shift hours
• Basic English communication skills (spoken and written)
