Job summary

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical engineering qualifications or apprenticeship.
• Strong mechanical maintenance experience.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to maintenance and reliability.
• Good health & safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
• Preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Working on pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, motors and associated mechanical equipment.
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Minimising machinery downtime and maintaining production efficiency.
• Working safely and in line with company procedures.
• Assisting with installation, modification and improvement of machinery where required.
