Job summary

FG Air is seeking a production operator to set up and run machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will follow safety rules, maintain records, and help drive process improvements to ensure quality production.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, 2 years of manufacturing experience at the same site, and the ability to work with a team while meeting output targets. English reading/writing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of manufacturing experience at the same location.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment.
• Able to read, write, and count.
• Willing to be cross trained on multiple roles.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Follow all plant and departmental safety rules and regulations.
• English reading/writing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate production records including quantities produced and machine settings.
• Ability to perform work at process speed and standard rates.
• Report problems with tools, equipment, fixtures, materials, or setup to supervisor.
• Maintain all assigned tools and keep workstation clean.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
