Job summary

RecruitMe is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a permanent, Monday–Friday day shift in Sleaford. The role covers planning, fault finding, maintenance and installation of electrical equipment across a busy production facility, with close collaboration with production and engineering teams.

Candidates should hold City & Guilds Level 3 Electrotechnical, 18th Edition, strong fault-finding skills and inverter drive experience.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 electrical qualification (City & Guilds Level 3 Electrotechnical).
• City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience maintaining on production/manufacturing machinery.
• Strong fault-finding and breakdown skills.
• Experience installing new machinery, equipment or production lines.
• Knowledge of inverter drives.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Experience wiring/control panels from drawings.
• Proactive maintenance and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding across production machinery.
• Identify root causes and implement preventative solutions.
• Carry out planned and preventative electrical maintenance.
• Safe installation and upkeep of equipment.
• Support installation and commissioning of new lines and machinery.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Build/complete control panels from drawings.
• Work with inverter drives and related equipment.
• Support engineering projects and converting machinery.
• Regular plant inspections and maintenance planning.
• Ensure machinery is safe before handover to production.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and safety standards.
