AutoSkills (United Kingdom) seeks an HGV Technician for a straight day shift in an established CV business. You will inspect, service, and repair HGVs, ensuring compliance with licensing, and keep accurate records. The role suits technicians with solid apprenticeship background and knowledge of truck and trailer systems.

The position offers a supportive team, ongoing training, a strong pension, medical insurance, and additional employee discounts. Hours are 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
• Detailed knowledge of Truck & Trailer maintenance.
• Commercial licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, maintenance and repair.

Responsabilités

• Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with O licence requirements.
• Carry out repairs highlighted during initial inspection.
• General servicing and MOT preparation.
• Update all required paperwork/databases.
