Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative and Counterbalance Forklift Driver in Slough. The role involves handling inbound deliveries, stock placement, and operating a counterbalance forklift with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift licence (essential).
• Experience in warehouse or distribution environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Unload inbound deliveries and move stock to storage and holding areas.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are correct and undamaged, report issues.
• Pick and pack customer orders, ensure correct quantities for dispatch.
• Conduct efficient order picking to meet targets.
• Move stock from storage to vehicles for loading.
• Use RF scanning for picking, receiving and loading activities.
• Assist with stock takes and inventory counts.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report faults promptly.
